| So it is summer again which means it is time for an epic summer meet!
Last summer there was a meet at Kimball Farm in Westford, MA and it was an awesome time! We had about 25 people and I will be organizing a new one where we can hopefully get some more people!
It is a great time at a great location with so many awesome things to do. They have mini-golf (2 courses!), bumper boats, a large arcade, a driving range, batting cages, live animal shows, pitch and putt golf, food shack with seafood and grill stuff, and not to forget the AMAZING ice cream they are known for!
It rained at last years meet, but it was still awesome. So, just imagine how epic the event can be with some sunshine! If cost is an issue for you they have great deal packages you can get in on to do multiple things and food for one bundle price.
Last year suiters were allowed, but I will be checking again on this so we do not show up and find out suits are not allowed.
As for dates I have created a nifty little voting page so you can vote on possible dates. The possible dates will be: Saturdays: June 23rd, 30th Sundays: June 24th and July 1st.
Come vote at this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dEVYcDVENXRpSVo2aUVZNDRLdm5PTlE6MQ
If you cannot for some reason just leave a vote in the comments.
This journal can be found on FA at: http://sfw.furaffinity.net/journal/3506135/
Leave a comment if you are interested in this meet!
Thanx, Xiris

This is our regular first-Friday CT Diner run to the Town Line Diner in central CT (Rocky Hill). People tend to show up around 7pm and stay until 10 pm and later. Sometimes much later. Look for the tables in the back full of people with ears and tails.

| There's less than a week left to pre-register for What The Fur, so what are you waiting for? We've even decided to keep the Pre-Registration open until the 25th. Why? Because we like you all that much! So pre-register now, because as of midnight on Friday the 25th of May, we close the door to pre-registering on the website, and you'll have to register at the door. We won't turn you away as we have plenty of room, but the price will be a little higher. So be sure to register now! There are also rooms left at the hotel! So long as you register at the hotel using the What The Fur code (which is, easily enough, What The Fur), you're guaranteed to get the convention room rate. We'll try and have everyone on the same floors, so if you haven't, book your room soon.
All info is on our website at www.whatthefur.ca

| Hi all!
Just a reminder.... >"^_^"<
Matthew Ebel and myself will be playing at Jack's Place, 597 Bridgton Rd. (Rt 302) Westbrook, Maine.
http://www.facebook.com/pages/JACKS.....20377618010561
Date and time: THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 28th. Show starts at 9pm!
Jack's Place, formerly The Wake And Bake Cafe, serves great food and now alcohol for you of age furs. Come out for an evening of great food and great music!
Be aware that this is not a 'furry' gathering per se. Ears and tails are not a concern if you choose to wear them. Fursuits may be a little much for such a small place.
If you are a Mainer, or are in the area, come see us! Support your local artists.
Without YOU, we can't do this. >"^_^"<

| As the convention creeps closer, some of us think of some important things. Things such as “Do I need to pack that sketchbook?”, “Did I set the alarm before laying down?” or “Do I need that extra pair of underwear?” But the sad reality is, most of us forget that sketchbook (and yes, even the underwear) now and then. One thing that also gets forgotten is making sure you have a place to stay for your visit.
For those of you coming in from out of town, the Hotel Espresso is still offering us a room rate of $110 CDN per night, but the deal isn’t without its end date. The deal ends on May 6th! So if you haven’t made your arrangements with the hotel for a room yet, get on it! The room rate is available for anyone staying at the hotel from May 31st to June 4th, so you can even spend an extra day checking out the sights! Just be sure to mention you’re going to What The Fur when you call the hotel to reserve your room (that would be -514-938-4611 or 1-877-468-3550). Sadly, getting the good rate on the rooms isn’t available online, but if you call, the people working at the main desk of the hotel know us and love us. If you’re looking for someone to share a room with, we have our forums available on the website, and there is also our Livejournal or Dreamwidth groups for sending requests.
Just 8 more weeks until the creatures of the night come out of hiding!
Oh, and don’t forget the underwear.
